Im not sure that anything is really “perfect”. I feel that trying to be perfect is but a mirage that we keep chasing & in fact everything we see all around us is perfectly imperfect. When is a piece finished to perfection? I think that’s for the artist to decide and the viewer to have an opinion.

“So many imperfections but it’s so beautiful it doesn’t matter”. A realisation from one of my therapy sessions. I struggle daily with CPTSD & PTSD. My realisations of other peoples beautiful imperfections has helped me to accept mine. My realisation that my past doesn’t determine who I am & who I’d like to be.

To accept self. To then be able to accept others.
